У Alvia Alcedo нет профессионального художественного образования, но это не мешает ей творить красоту на камнях масляными красками.
Редакции альманаха «Хроники драконов» Alvia Alcedo рассказала, что образы драконов её привлекают тем, что «они сильные и свободные волшебные создания, и рисовать их можно, опираясь на свои собственные представления о том, как они могут выглядеть. Это дает большой простор для воображения, Это очень здорово - рисовать сказку».
Будучи страстной поклонницей фэнтези, Alvia Alcedo, рисует на поделочных камнях изображения драконов. Каждое из этих волшебных существ имеет особый характер, а также придает камню своеобразный магический оттенок.
Как отмечает сама художница, образы всех крылатых существ она придумывает сама и к каждому подбирает свой оттенок камня. От цвета агата зависят «эмоции» драконов: на желтом или красном фоне они предстают перед зрителями жестокими, почти демоническими существами, а на голубом или фиолетовом - кажутся невинными и задумчивыми.
Каждый камень с рисунком составляет в длину не более 5,5 сантиметров.
