Леонид Афремов (12 июля 1955 г. - 19 августа 2019 г.)
Белорусский современным художник-импрессионист.
Леонид Афремов разработал собственный стиль и технику, которая отличает его от других художников. Афремов преимущественно использовал мастихин (ножик для смешивания красок) и масляные краски.
Он писал в основном городские сцены, морские пейзажи и цветы.
Афремов родился в Витебске. В 1978 году он окончил Витебское художественное училище и стал одним из его почётных членов. В Витебске Леонид Афремов жил до 1990 года, затем переехал с семьей в Израиль. Он поселился в районе Тель-Авива и открыл художественную галерею в Ашдоде.
В 2002 году Афремов переехал в США.
Начиная с 2004 году художник начал продавать свои картины на eBay. Именно благодаря интернету его узнали десятки тысяч человек, картины художника стали узнаваемы, люди оставляли свои положительные, восторженные отзывы.
После восьми лет в Соединенных Штатах, в марте 2010 года Леонид Афремов переехал в Плайя-дель-Кармен, Мексика, где прожил девять лет.
19 августа 2019 года Леонид Афремова не стало.
Леонид Аркадьевич оставил после себя сотни картин.
