Right — have been messing about with this thing for something like five months now and it's stuck on my phone, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I never could work out what an each way return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows the return instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I'd always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it's over at irish lottery yankee bet calculator — free, no signup.

What really made a difference is the nerdier tools. There's an probability thing that shows what margin's baked in, plus a kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one is decent for when I'm splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its design looks pretty plain — not much flash, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it's a website and that's it — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that's me. Free, barely any ads, works. Anyone who honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a fair few dumb bets I'd have regretted.
